This mouthpiece will give a huge sound and tone. It makes the alto sounds close to a tenor sax. My student found the 2.5 rico best suited with it for her taste. However, it requires much more air and higher pressure at this setup. Great for jazz/rock/funk and bold players who like it rough. Soft players and most beginners will find it exhausting.
